Join the Sub-Committee

Under the purview of Legislative Affairs, The Texas Society of Genetic Counselors has a dedicated committee of volunteer members who advocate for genetic counselor licensure.  

The committee is formed every other year to coincide with the Texas legislative session. Committee members participate in ad-hoc meetings with a lobbyist, design educational materials for legislators, and meet with legislators in Austin on Lobby Day to promote our bill.
